Firstly I would like to stress that miscarriage is a different experience for everybody so if you cannot identify with any of the statements I make in any of my articles please do not fret. The information I am going to give you is based upon my experiences of miscarriage.
You may feel the pressure in regards to conceiving after a miscarriage but do not rush into trying for a baby straight away. Failed pregnancies take a massive toll on you both physically and mentally so make sure both you and your partner are ready first.
Despite common belief it is actually possible to conceive straight after a miscarriage although you will probably be far from mentally and physically prepared for this. Wait until your first period has come and gone before you even start trying to conceive. Medical experts typically recommend 12-24 weeks before you attempt getting pregnant after a miscarriage so that you have time to prepare yourself for pregnancy again.
Most of all do not get into the mindset of ‘I need to get pregnant as soon as possible’. This will only serve to cause you stress which some scientific studies have shown to decrease your chances of conceiving.
